Each year, the Red Bull Music Academy invests a new city. They invite today’s most daring new music makers to exchange with accomplished artists from varied styles, methodologies and cultures to share personal experiences, expertise and ideas about making music. In 2015, RBMA heads over to Paris, and chose la Gaîté for its headquarters.
Established in 1998, the Red Bull Music Academy is a global institution committed to fostering creativity in music. At each edition, the Academy celebrates music, its culture and those who revolutionize it.
At la Gaîté lyrique, the Academy will take on various forms :
During an entire month, the 61 participants from all around the world will collaborate, create, discover and exchange in the privacy of the upper floors of la Gaîté. Workshops, masterclasses, recording sessions : throughout the month, you'll be able to follow the life of the Academy and discover exclusive content, live on RBMA Radio, and on the online magazine Daily.

In addition to the events at la Gaîté, Red Bull Music Academy will also present events in some of the city’s most iconic and fascinating venues.
The aim, as always, will be to pay tribute to the city’s unique musical history, as well as to celebrate new artists and sounds that are making an impact on the world stage.
