Romuald Karmaker's camera follows the lead of electro minimal, Ricardo Villalobos, into the world's biggest clubs and especially in the ones reputed to be inaccessible to cameras.
The minimal's Chilean star was chosen by the very serious German producer Romuald Karmakar as the subject of the last part of his trilogy on the electronic and clubbing culture in the beginning of the 21st century, the other two being 196 BPM and Between The Devil And The Wide Blue Sea.
Villalobos, is based on interviews of the DJ and videos of places which are normally strictly off-camera such as the Berghain/Panorama Bar in Berlin, the Amnesia and the Privilege in Ibiza.
The documentary was screened as a preview at the Venice Film Festival in September 2009.
