This film follows the tribulations of Unlocking The Truth, a metal band made up of three 13 year old New York kids. From their first successes in the streets and on YouTube to the way in which they get confronted to the music industry, the media and money. The learning process of success, which is also a coming of age chronicle from childhood to adulthood.
